About

Our Story

Located in Greenville, North Carolina, Brook Valley Country Club is home to one of North Carolina’s Top 100 golf courses. Founded in 1966 and designed by Ellis Maples, the club's history includes an exhibition match played by legends Sam Snead and Ben Hogan. Centered on our talked about golf course is a thriving community of families who swim with us, socialize over dinner and celebrate in the clubhouse. Reopened under the McConnell Golf umbrella in the spring of 2015, the property has undergone extensive renovations to bring its original beauty into a new era.

Founded in 1929, RGA is the second oldest golf course in the Raleigh area and equally popular among senior, women and junior golfers. Comments John McConnell, "It gives (McConnell Golf) a great opportunity to help grow the game of golf for those who may not be club members or have a regular golf course to play."

McConnell Golf's values are reflected in the communities we build inside, and outside, club walls. The Footprints on the Green and McConnell Scholarship programs, in addition to our Operation 36 programs at various clubs, are prime examples of our commitment to the future of golf.
